PROS- First off, I personally believe that the styling on this bike makes it look great! The model I have is a dark glossy blue with a black and red front sprocket. It also came with smoother, “road friendly” tires. Now for the build; you get a lot of bike for your money. This bicycle can take a beating. The only thing I have replaced on this bicycle is the real tire for more traction. The frame is very solid. The stock tires are great for road use with nice smooth tread. I would also like to note that the front crank is longer than your average bicycle crank. This allows for more power for each rotation. This makes it great speedy take-offs and small spinouts on dirt.
CONS- After a lot of abuse, the rear rim loosened up and turned out of place. (This may be due to me fish-tailing the bicycle back and forth excessively.) This did not break however. But I did have to set the rim back in place and retighten the axel. Also, if you plan to take this bike off jumps, plant on having to tighten the handle bars every 150-200 landings. The bolts holding the handle bars on are not extremely strong and allow the handlebars to slide upon hard landings. This also is not a major issue and does not break any components. The bike is also on the heavier side. Don’t expect to do massive bunny-hops on this thing. |
